Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Purchasing/Supply ChainCoordinator to manage purchase orders, communicate with suppliers, and coordinate shipments. You will verify HS codes, K1 declarations, and import duties, and prepare product costing for management approval.

This role requires at least 2 years in purchasing or related fields, strong Excel and data entry skills, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines. English proficiency is essential; Mandarin/Malay are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Import/Export or related fields.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.
• Good command of English; Mandarin/Malay knowledge is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office / Excel and system data entry.

Responsibilities

• Handle purchase orders (PO) and communicate with suppliers on orders, confirmations and shipments.
• Follow up with suppliers on delivery schedules, invoices, packing lists and shipping documents.
• Check and verify HS Codes, K1 declarations and import duties for incoming shipments.
• Prepare product costing and pricing for management's review and minimum selling price approval.
• Prepare incoming shipment inspection lists and coordinate with relevant teams for goods checking.
• Update approved pricing and perform Goods Receipt (GR) in the company system accurately.
• Handle and coordinate import and export documentation and shipment arrangements.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, logistics providers and internal departments on shipment matters.
• Follow up on outstanding orders, shipment delays, shortages, discrepancies and documentation issues.
• Maintain proper records of POs, invoices, shipping documents and import/export documents.
• Ensure all purchasing, shipment and inventory records are accurate and updated on time.
