Job summary

KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital is seeking a State Registered Nurse to provide specialised nursing support for diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures, ensuring safe patient care throughout the imaging process.

You will assist radiologists, prepare patients, monitor during and after procedures, document records, manage medications and contrast, and support the radiology team with safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing and RN registration (LJM) are mandatory.
• BLS/ACLS certifications are advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists during imaging procedures ensuring patient safety.
• Assess, prepare, and educate patients before procedures.
• Monitor patients during and after procedures including sedation and adverse reactions.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records and radiology logs.
• Administer medications and contrast agents per protocol.
• Manage medications, IV supplies, and stock.
• Ensure emergency readiness and equipment functionality.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support services.
• Provide patient and caregiver education on procedures and follow-up.
