Job summary

Oriental Melaka Straits Medical Centre seeks a Diploma-qualified Imaging Radiographer to perform diagnostic imaging with minimal radiation and to deliver high-quality images. You will handle general radiography and, when trained, specialized imaging such as Mammography, CT, MRI, Interventions and Angiography.

You will assist Radiologists and clinicians, participate in quality improvement projects, and ensure proper maintenance of imaging equipment in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Diploma in Medical Imaging.
• Experience in Mammography, Angiography, MRI and/or CT will be an advantage.
• Candidate is required to perform on-call duties and other ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned by manager.

Responsibilities

• Carry out imaging procedures and produce quality images of diagnostic value with minimal radiation to patients and staff.
• Perform general radiography and specialized imaging when trained, including Mammography, CT, MRI, Interventions and Angiography.
• Assist the Radiologist and doctors in the imaging process.
• Participate in quality improvement projects of the department and hospital.
• Ensure proper maintenance of imaging equipment.
