Jora Malaysia is seeking a Part-time Secondary Computer Science Teacher to plan and deliver engaging CS lessons aligned with the Cambridge syllabus at the secondary level. You will support students in building strong knowledge and practical CS skills while employing effective teaching strategies and resources.
The role involves developing students' problem-solving and independent learning, assessing progress, and preparing them for Cambridge assessments.

Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons aligned with the Cambridge syllabus.
Teach Computer Science at the secondary level and support students in developing strong subject knowledge and practical skills.
Use appropriate teaching strategies, activities and resources to engage students in learning.
Develop students' problem-solving, computational thinking and independent learning skills.
Assess and monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
Prepare students for relevant Cambridge assessments and examinations.
Create a positive and supportive classroom environment and manage student behaviour effectively.
Maintain appropriate records of students' learning and progress.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
At least 1 year of teaching experience at the secondary level is preferred. Fresh graduates with strong potential and a genuine interest in teaching are welcome to apply.
Strong knowledge of Computer Science and its application in education.
Familiarity with the Cambridge Computer Science syllabus is an advantage.
Experience teaching or preparing students for Cambridge examinations is an advantage.
Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
Passion for teaching and guiding students in their academic, personal and skills development, while supporting their holistic growth.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Able to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
