Job summary

Tencent, a global Internet platform company, is expanding its Interactive Entertainment Group operations in Malaysia. This role focuses on deployment, change and incident triage, and infrastructure management for overseas games and related components and systems, including game monitor services.

You will monitor dashboards for game observability, ensure reliability, scalability and security, and work closely with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider and familiarity with multiple providers.
• Experience in cloud resource management, monitoring, security configuration, and cost optimization.
• Proficient in scripting and programming languages such as Bash, Python, and SQL.
• Bilingual in Chinese and English; strong communication and analytical skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork; willing to work night shifts.

Responsibilities

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.


• Cloud Proficiency: Proficiency in at least one major cloud service provider (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud, or Huawei Cloud). Experience with multiple providers is a plus. (optional)


• Cloud Operations: Prior experience in cloud resource management, O&M (Operations & Maintenance), monitoring, cost optimization, and security configuration is a plus.(optional)


• Scripting & Programming: Proficient in scripting and programming languages such as Bash, Python, and SQL.


• Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English.


• Communication & Soft Skills: Excellent English communication skills, a strong ability to learn, and proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
