Job summary

KPJ Sentosa KL Specialist Hospital is seeking a dedicated nurse aide to provide standard nursing care and support the ward team. You will report to nursing leaders, participate in shift handovers, rounds, and patient comfort activities.

You will help maintain cleanliness, stock, infection control, and patient safety while complying with hospital policies. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and on-call during emergencies is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital setting is an advantage.
• Able to converse fluently and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care aligned with hospital vision, mission, and goals.
• Notify nursing leaders of any situations impacting quality of care.
• Obtain ward report and assignment at start of each shift.
• Conduct regular nursing rounds to assess patients’ needs and communicate with patients and families.
• Assist with beds, linens, and ward cleanliness; ensure patient comfort.
• Assist in transporting patients to theatres and other services for tests.
• Dispatch specimens to laboratory and collect results.
• Maintain stock levels of ward supplies and equipment; manage oxygen tanks for emergencies.
• Record daily ward charges and update patient charges.
