Job summary

KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital invites a dedicated nursing assistant to provide basic nursing care and support the ward team while upholding infection control standards. You will participate in rounds, assist with patient comfort, and ensure smooth daily operations in the ward.

Requirements include SPM and priority for certified healthcare assistants; hospital experience is an asset. Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) certificate.
• Certification as healthcare assistant preferred.
• Experience in a hospital setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in line with hospital standards and report incidents to relevant authorities.
• Perform regular nursing rounds and communicate with patients and their families.
• Assist in transporting patients to and from the operating theatre and to diagnostic tests.
• Disinfect beds, equipment, and ward areas after use and maintain cleanliness.
• Assist trained staff with patient care activities including comfort, safety and hygiene.
• Attend meetings held by the service.
