Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Kedah, Alor Setar region, seeks a Test Engineer to support production ICT and Flying Probe testing.

You will develop test programs, document procedures, analyze data, and drive yield improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• At least 3 years of ICT and Flying Probe test experience.
• Proficient in ICT/Flying Probe hardware and software.
• Strong digital/analog test and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Continuous improvement mindset for test process optimization.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques.
• Experience with Test Expert software.

Responsibilities

• Support production test of circuit cards on ICT and Flying Probe platforms.
• Interpret test requirements and document procedures.
• Analyze data to identify root causes.
• Develop and execute improvement projects to increase yields.
• Engage with operations to solve issues affecting test yields.
• Ensure hardware requirements are met and processes followed.
• Assist operators and technicians in testing and troubleshooting production hardware.
• Develop test programs on ICT and Flying Probe platforms.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supporting production test of circuit cards on ICT and Flying Probe test platforms
• Interpreting test requirements and documenting test procedures.
• Analyzing data to identify to root cause.
• Developing and executing improvement projects to increase first-pass yields.
• Engagement with the operation team members to solve issues impacting test yields.
• Ensuring hardware requirements are met and processes are followed.
• Assisting manufacturing operators and technicians in the testing & troubleshooting ofproduction hardware.
• Developing test programs on ICT and Flying Probe test platforms.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years test engineering related experience in ICT and Flying Probes tests.
• ICT and FP testers' hardware and software sustaining skills.
• Digital and analog test/troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A continuous improvement mindset to enhance manufacturing test methods through process optimization and modernization.
• Sound understanding of statistical analysis techniques.
• Test software development skills, such as Test Expert
• Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
