Job summary

Kerry in Malaysia seeks an ICT Analyst to support master data governance activities, including hands-on SAP MDG configuration, workflow management, and data integrity assurance. The role collaborates with business and technical teams, supports testing and deployment, manages IDocs, and troubleshoots ABAP-related MDG issues.

Work Location Powerhouse, PJ; Working Hours 11.00AM - 7.00PM; reporting to ICT Manager - MDG Systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP MDG, ECC, S/4HANA environments.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a related role.
• Understanding of master data objects (Material, Vendor, Customer, Finance).
• Collaborate with technical teams during build, testing, deployment, and support.
• ABAP debugging skills for MDG processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on configuration in SAP MDG BRF+ and workflows.
• Coordinate with MDM team and act as local SME for domains.
• Ensure updates to master data workflows and rules.
• Participate in testing, documentation, and cutover support.
• Troubleshoot ABAP code related to MDG processes.

About The Role

As an ICT Analyst you will support master data governance activities, including hands-on configuration, workflow management, and data integrity assurance. The role involves collaborating with business and technical teams, supporting testing and deployment, managing IDocs, and troubleshooting ABAP-related issues.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hands-on configuration in SAP MDG (BRF+, workflows, data models, creation of a new plant/sales org/country).
• Collaborate with business units to capture MDM requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate updates to master data workflows and rules.
• Participate in testing cycles, documentation, and cutover support.
• Coordinate with the global MDM team and act as local SME for specific domains.
• IDoc Management through WE19/02 etc.
• Data Integrity Audits - reviewing source and destination system alignment on a regular basis.
• Troubleshoot ABAP code issues related to MDG processes, including debugging and performance analysis.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience working in SAP MDG, ECC, S/4HANA environments.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a related role.
• Understanding of master data objects (Material, Vendor, Customer, Finance Related).
• Comfortable working with technical teams and participating in build testing, deployment, and support.
• Hands-on experience with ABAP debugging tools and techniques.
• Ability to analyse ABAP code for error resolution, performance tuning, and functional alignment.
