Job summary

Altera in Penang, Malaysia is seeking an IC testability and manufacturing readiness engineer who drives testability and manufacturability from feasibility to production ramp. You will work with design, DFx, fab, and production teams to enable post-silicon HVM ramp and to debug complex test methods.

Responsibilities include ATE characterization, data-driven yield analysis, and developing test software and hardware solutions to ensure component margin and cost targets while optimizing test time.

Qualifications

• Requires experience in testability and manufacturability of ICs.
• Experience evaluating designs on ATE and debugging performance issues.
• Knowledge of DFx/DFM for production testing.

Responsibilities

• Drives testability and manufacturability of ICs from feasibility to ramp.
• Contributes to design, development and validation of testability circuits and methodologies.
• Interfacing with process development, fab, assembly, quality, reliability, and manufacturing groups.
• Performs ATE device characterization and yields analysis to define datasheet specs.
