Job summary

Deutsche Bank Malaysia is seeking a results‑driven professional to support the Global Markets business in Kuala Lumpur. You will build client relationships with financial institutions and corporates, price and execute client flows, manage risk, and sign off on PnL for the trading book.

The role emphasizes platform optimization, flow automation, and collaboration with internal teams and pro‑sales to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of financial institutions, with knowledge of FX and/or Rates products.
• Knowledge of sales, trading, and market risk concepts.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with ability to apply product knowledge in a trading environment.
• Interest in financial markets, trading strategies, and evolving market dynamics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration in a high‑performance environment.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and results-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and ethical use of data.

Your key responsibilities

• Build and expand client relationships across financial institutions and corporates
• Pricing and executing Corporate and Institutional client flows

Your skills and experience

• Strong understanding of financial institutions, with knowledge of FX and/or Rates products.
• Knowledge of sales, trading, and market risk concepts, gained through academic studies, internships, or relevant experience.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to apply product knowledge in a trading environment.
• Demonstrated interest in financial markets, trading strategies, and evolving market dynamics, with a willingness to continuously develop expertise.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to contribute effectively in a high-performance environment.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage for supporting clients across the region.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
