Job summary

Alibaba Cloud is seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Operations Engineer to support the operation and continuous improvement of its hyperscale data centers. You will help establish standardized operational frameworks across facilities, IT systems, and assets and drive operational excellence.

The role emphasizes digitalization, automation, and intelligent operations management, with collaboration across stakeholders to optimize resource use and ensure high performance of on-site data center

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or IT-related field.
• Solid understanding of power distribution, electrical equipment, HVAC, and building automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize standardized operating procedures for hyperscale data center infrastructure.
• Drive digitalization, automation, and intelligent operations management.
• Oversee operational standards and performance targets for incident, change, risk, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resource utilization.
• Participate in planning, design, construction, and commissioning of data center infrastructure (power, buildings, HVAC, networks, servers).
• Stay current with industry trends and contribute to data center architecture improvements.
• Provide insights to improve operational excellence and competitiveness of Alibaba's IDC platform.
