Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Network Infrastructure Construction Engineer to lead IT infrastructure packages for a hyperscale data center project in Serendah, Selangor. You will manage design reviews, cabling, IT room setups, and integration with MEP and controls, ensuring delivery to project specs and milestones.

The role requires a degree in IT/Networking and at least 5 years’ experience in data center or large-scale facilities, with strong knowledge of structured cabling, rack installations,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure implementation for data centers or large-scale facilities.
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Networking, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Familiarity with hyperscale or mission-critical environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, network diagrams, cable routing, rack layouts, BOMs, and submissions.
• Coordinate IT infrastructure with electrical, ELV, and mechanical systems.
• Monitor contractors’ installation activities: cable pulling, termination, patching, rack installation, equipment mounting.
• Verify workmanship, cable management, labeling, testing, and documentation.
• Support FAT, SAT, IT infra testing, and commissioning activities.
• Review IT infrastructure as-builts, schematics, patching schedules, and asset inventories.
