Job summary

Shell Malaysia Upstream is seeking an early-career Production Operations specialist to optimize production and safeguard asset integrity, focusing on the measurement-to-cash process for Malaysia assets with multiple stakeholders.

You will execute production reconciliation, product allocation, and invoicing integrity across operated Sarawak fields and liaise with external parties for non-operated facilities. A strong emphasis on data quality and compliance with MTAB/GSA/PSC is required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Process, Petroleum, Chemical or Mechanical with 3–5 years of experience.
• Minimum 2 years in hydrocarbon accounting role.
• Strong communication, analytical skills and ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute production reconciliation and product allocation for operated fields in Sarawak.
• Interface with external parties to cover non-operated facilities and interlinked fields.
• Protect asset interests through accurate sales allocation and invoicing.
• Ensure adherence to SOX, PPGUA, MTAB, GSA, PSC requirements and local laws.
• Provide reporting of KPIs to PETRONAS and stakeholders.
