Job summary
BAE Systems Digital Intelligence Malaysia is seeking a Test Automation Developer to design automated tests for new and existing features. You will work with Python and JavaScript and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with developers across international teams in a hybrid working setup.
The role requires a degree in CS/IT/Engineering and 2+ years in test automation or development, with strong English communication.
Qualifications
- Malaysian citizen or right to work in Malaysia
- Bachelor’s degree with CGPA 3.00 or equivalent
- At least 2 years’ experience in a test automation or developer role
- Knowledge of Python & Javascript; coding tests will be conducted
- Good English communication skills
Responsibilities
- Understand new and existing functional requirements and design test cases
- Create automation tests using Python, Playwright, Cypress or Rest Assured (API)
- Debug automation test failures and raise bug tickets
- Integrate test automation with CI/CD via Jenkins
- Collaborate with developers and international team; overlap with US time zone may be required
