Job summary

Pride Global in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our QA team and support software quality assurance activities across web-based applications.

You will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts with Selenium in Java or Python, perform manual testing when required, and collaborate with developers and analysts to ensure quality and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 4–8 years of QA/testing experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field required.
• 4–8 years of QA/testing experience.
• Strong Selenium automation experience.
• Experience with SQL and web applications.
• Experience with test case management tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain high-quality test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform peer-to-peer reviews of test cases to ensure quality and coverage.
• Create, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium with Java or Python.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Java or Python.
• Perform both manual and automation testing to ensure applications meet requirements and specifications.
• Capture and maintain test data, results, and evidence in an organized manner.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing as required.
• Identify, document, track, and follow up on defects using defect management tools.
• Work with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to resolve defects and ensure timely delivery.
