Job summary

Experian Asia Pacific is seeking a Software Engineering Intern in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. You will gain hands-on experience building and testing software while collaborating with engineers, designers, QA and product teams.

Responsibilities include developing features, participating in Agile processes, testing, debugging, documentation, and code reviews under the guidance of the Software Engineering Director. This six-month internship offers a buddy program and a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js or Python).
• Understanding of software development fundamentals with exposure in APIs development or software solutions through hackathons, coursework or projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test application features using modern technologies.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product teams.
• Participate in Agile development activities.
• Perform testing, debugging, documentation, and participate in code reviews.
• Reporting to Software Engineering Director
