Job summary

Experian Marketing Services (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for recent graduates eager to build real-world applications and grow their technical skills in a collaborative environment.

The position is hybrid, with 2–3 days in the office and the remainder remote. You’ll work on software development fundamentals, APIs, and databases while collaborating with UX and the rest of the team.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of software development experience through internships, projects, or bootcamps.
• Understanding of software engineering principles and object-oriented programming.
• Exposure to databases, APIs, and app development concepts.
• Basic knowledge of version control systems and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with UX designers to implement intuitive, accessible designs.
• Utilize tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence in development.
• Report to the Software Engineering Manager.
• Hybrid role: in-office 2–3 days/week with remote work on other days.
