Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Project Management Lead for Malaysia to oversee the performance, growth, and technical excellence of PM and DM teams supporting global projects. You will ensure high-quality delivery, strong commercial performance, and alignment with global PM/DM standards, strengthening Malaysia as a strategic delivery hub.

Responsibilities include leading PMs and DMs, guiding project controls and governance, and driving client engagement, bids, and growth for the Global Design Center

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
• 20+ years of experience in project/design management.
• Experience in the consulting/engineering sector preferred.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong delivery, governance, and commercial management expertise.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and strategic business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead PMDM teams, ensuring consistent application of PMDM processes and best practices.
• Provide expert guidance on PMDM methodologies, project controls, and delivery standards.
• Act as Project Director on major or complex projects and ensure robust scope, risk, and commercial control.
• Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and lead major bids and proposals.
