Job summary

NTT DATA Malaysia is seeking an Information Security Analyst to safeguard networks, implement controls, and help protect digital assets. This role requires experience in vulnerability assessment, incident response, and security testing within a global IT environment.

The position is hybrid, focusing on monitoring alerts, applying patches, and ensuring GDPR/ISO27001 compliance while educating teams on security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information security, cybersecurity, computer science, or related.
• Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM are advantageous.
• Seasoned demonstrated experience in information security or cybersecurity, or related roles.
• Experience in a global IT organization.
• Experience with network penetration testing and techniques.
• Experience with security assessment and vulnerability scanning tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitors security alerts and investigates threats, escalating incidents as needed.
• Implements and monitors security controls like firewalls and access controls.
• Performs vulnerability assessments and prioritizes remediation.
• Supports incident response with documentation and remediation.
• Ensures compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001 by assessments and controls.
• Installs security measures and operates security software including encryption.
• Documents breaches and assesses damages.
• Coordinates with security team to test for network vulnerabilities.
• Develops best practices for IT security.
• Stays updated on IT trends and security standards.
• Conducts security training and awareness initiatives.
• Maintains records for reporting and audits.
• Supports maintenance of SIEM, antivirus, encryption tools.
