Job summary

IRS Software Malaysia (IRS Software Solution (M) Sdn Bhd) is seeking a capable software developer to join our team in Malaysia. You will participate in the full SDLC, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and build robust backend services with C# and ASP.NET Core Web API while refining SQL Server data access.

You will collaborate with users and product owners, contribute to testing and debugging, and explore AI-enabled features to enhance product capabilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field with CGPA 3.5+.
• Hands-on frontend development experience using React.js.
• Hands-on backend development experience using C# / ASP.NET Core Web API.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, views, or functions).
• Familiar with Git version control.
• Able to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues and deliver practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development life cycle: requirement study, design, development, testing and maintenance.
• Collaborate with users, product owners and internal teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop, enhance and maintain backend services and APIs using C# / ASP.NET Core Web API.
• Design, optimize and maintain database queries, stored procedures, views and functions in SQL Server.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve system issues reported by users or the support team.
