Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Technician focused on mechanical systems. The role involves hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring HVAC reliability in a manufacturing facility.

You will execute scheduled PMs and rapid CM, log activities, and assist in maintaining spare parts inventory while upholding safety standards in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years’ hands‑on experience in mechanical maintenance (HVAC, pumps, exhaust).
• Experience in a 24/7 shift environment and basic reading of technical drawings.
• Exposure to BMS/CMMS systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of chillers, cooling towers, AHU/FCU and pump systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Perform PM and CM to ensure reliability and uptime.
• Document maintenance activity and report issues to engineers.
• Support safety procedures and compliance in all tasks.
