Job summary

MST Facilities Sdn Bhd is seeking a Facilities Project Engineer – HVAC/M&E to join our Projects & Facilities Engineering Team. Based in Kulim, Kedah, you will drive HVAC and M&E project delivery across multiple industrial sites, coordinating with site teams, contractors and vendors to ensure safe, efficient execution and high-quality outcomes.

You will troubleshoot systems, review technical specifications, and support maintenance and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Air Conditioning/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2–5 years of relevant HVAC, M&E, facilities or project engineering experience.
Fresh graduates with good technical knowledge and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate and monitor HVAC and M&E projects across Kulim and other sites.
Provide technical and operational support to site teams covering HVAC, mechanical, electrical and utility systems.
Coordinate equipment installation, testing, commissioning, system integration and handover.
Review project requirements, drawings, work methods, quotations, schedules and specs.
Monitor project progress, quality, cost and schedule.
Troubleshoot system faults and identify root causes; propose corrective actions.
Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities as required.
Coordinate contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
Supervise site works ensuring safety and compliance.
Conduct site inspections, testing, progress meetings and quality checks.
Prepare progress and technical reports and handover documentation.
Identify opportunities to improve reliability, energy efficiency and maintenance practices.
Provide technical support during breakdowns or emergencies.
