Job summary

MST Facilities Sdn Bhd invites applications for an HVAC / Mechanical Facilities Technician at Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah. The role covers preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and inspections to ensure safe, reliable operation of client facilities.

You will work on chillers, AHU, FCU, cooling towers, pumps, ventilation, piping and related systems. Fresh grads encouraged; SKM/Diploma holders preferred with safety and teamwork focus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC, mechanical maintenance, facilities management, or industrial maintenance.
• Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, hospital, or cleanroom environments is an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates or fresh technical certificate holders are encouraged to apply.
• Certificate, SKM, Diploma, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering; HVAC / Air Conditioning & Refrigeration; Building Services; Facilities Maintenance; Electrical or related technical disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and carry out repair works.
• Conduct routine inspections and report equipment abnormalities.
• Assist with equipment installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and support emergency maintenance when required.
• Complete maintenance records, service reports, and checklists.
• Follow safety procedures, Permit-to-Work (PTW), and company policies.
• Work closely with Engineers, Supervisors, customers, and subcontractors to ensure maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.
