Job summary

Sourceo Pte Ltd is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Service Engineer to join our field team in Malaysia. You will install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems across commercial and industrial sites, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

The role requires troubleshooting complex issues, mentoring junior technicians, and providing clear reports on activities. The candidate will travel regionally in Southeast Asia as required, maintain service equipment, and work

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 3–5 years of proven field experience as a service engineer focusing on HVAC systems.
Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, controls and technologies.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, complying with manufacturer specs and safety standards.
Conduct diagnostics to assess efficiency and identify problems for corrective action.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and control faults using diagnostic tools.
Provide recommendations for system upgrades and energy efficiency improvements.
Maintain accurate service reports, documentation, and time records for billing.
Mentor junior technicians and share knowledge with the team.
Collaborate with sales and technical teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
