Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking a Health, Safety and Environment Senior Coordinator in Malaysia. The role focuses on developing procedures and operational guidance within the HSE program to safeguard employees and communities.

You will support monitoring high-risk performance, assist in strategic initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance across projects and operations. A diploma or degree, plus 2-3 years’ experience, are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree required with 2-3 years of related experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to select solutions independently.
• Ability to explain complex information clearly within a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide support for monitoring high-risk injury, illness, and incident-related performance.
• Assist with developing and implementing strategic solutions to improve performance results.
• File and maintain permits, licenses, applications, and records for compliance.
• Review inspection records and investigate escalated complaints and suspected violations.
• Inform management, clients, and employees about complex regulations and findings; suggest corrective actions.
• Support cost-reduction and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Identify and solve typical and atypical problems in own area without supervision.
• Evaluate and select solutions from established options.
• Impact the team through the quality of services or information provided.
• Follow standardized procedures with regular guidance.
