Job summary

DHL Asia Pacific Shared Services Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an experienced HSE leader to drive health, safety and environmental programs across our logistics operations in Selangor. You will act as the subject matter expert on HSE policy and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in OSH, SHO preferred, at least seven years in HSE within warehousing or 3PL/4PL settings, and strong knowledge of Malaysian regulations, risk assessment methods, PTW and MHE operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) or related discipline.
• SHO certification preferred.
• Minimum 7 years HSE experience in logistics/warehousing/3PL/4PL.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian HSE regulations and compliance.
• Familiar with risk assessment methodologies (HIRARC) and PTW.
• Knowledge of MHE operations and facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for HSE matters, providing guidance on company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Advise management, site leaders, and contractors on HSE compliance requirements and best practices in line with applicable regulations.
• Develop and oversee safety and utilities maintenance programs to support operational excellence and achieve HSE objectives.
• Oversee fire safety, emergency preparedness, contractor safety compliance, and facility-related HSE requirements.
• Deliver HSE training programs, including safety inductions, toolbox talks, and MHE operator training, while promoting safety awareness through various communication channels.
• Conduct monthly HSE inspections with departmental HSE Committee representatives and prepare inspection reports for review and discussion during HSE Committee meetings.
