Job summary

IJM Group is seeking an Executive in Health, Safety & Environment to carry out audits and ensure conformance with safety policies. You will prepare and implement schedules, train staff, and assist in drafting safety and environmental plans.

The role involves assessing health and safety risks, monitoring practices, and liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities such as DOSH/DOE to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related discipline.
• Experience in health, safety and environment audits is preferred.
• Ability to prepare and implement safety training and campaigns.
• Good liaison with clients, consultants, and government officials (e.g. DOSH, DOE).

Responsibilities

• Carry out health, safety and environment audits to assess conformance to policies.
• Prepare and execute an approved implementation schedule for employees and workers.
• Prepare training programs and dissemination of bulletins/newsletters.
• Assist in drafting Project Safety Plans and Environmental Management Plans.
• Assess risks to health, safety and environment and implement necessary measures.
• Monitor surveillance and reporting on HSE practices within the Group.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and government officials to resolve HSE issues.

Education
