Job summary

NEXT Ventures in Kuala Lumpur seeks an HRIS Lead to own and evolve our multi-country people technology landscape. You will manage HRIS configurations, integrations, data integrity, and dashboards, partnering with People & Culture, Finance and IT to scale as we grow across Malaysia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Cyprus and Dubai.

The role requires 6+ years in HRIS or HR tech, hands-on administration of HiBob or similar HRIS, and strong SQL, Power BI/Tableau skills to deliver insights.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in HRIS, HR technology or people analytics, including 2+ years in a lead or ownership role.
• Hands-on administration of at least one modern HRIS (HiBob, Workday, BambooHR, SAP SuccessFactors or Darwinbox).
• Proven experience leading an HRIS implementation or migration end to end.
• Strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
• Experience with system integrations via APIs, middleware or flat-file feeds.

Responsibilities

• Own the HRIS roadmap: configuration, upgrades, new modules and continuous improvement.
• Administer core HR processes in the system: onboarding, offboarding, org structure, leave, performance cycles and approvals.
• Build and maintain integrations between the HRIS, ATS, payroll, finance and identity systems across all entities.
• Ensure data integrity, access controls and compliance with data protection rules across Malaysia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Cyprus and Dubai.
• Design and deliver HR dashboards and reports on headcount, attrition, hiring, compensation and workforce trends.
• Automate manual HR workflows to reduce admin and improve employee experience.
• Lead system implementations and migrations, including requirements, vendor management, testing and rollout.
• Train HR teams and employees on systems and serve as the go-to escalation point for HRIS issues.

As HRIS Lead, you will own the people technology that supports our multi-country workforce. You will run and evolve our HR systems, keep employee data accurate and secure, and turn people data into insights leadership can act on. You will be the bridge between People & Culture, Finance and IT, making sure our systems scale as fast as we grow.

How You'll Make an Impact

Own the HRIS roadmap: configuration, upgrades, new modules and continuous improvement.

What You Bring

6+ years in HRIS, HR technology or people analytics, including 2+ years in a lead or ownership role.

Hands-on administration of at least one modern HRIS (e.g., HiBob, Workday, BambooHR, SAP SuccessFactors or Darwinbox).

Proven experience leading an HRIS implementation or migration end to end.

Strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.

Experience with system integrations via APIs, middleware or flat-file feeds.

Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and solid SQL for reporting and data validation.

Knowledge of data privacy and access-control best practices for employee data.

Experience supporting multi-country or multi-entity organisations.

Clear communicator who can translate HR needs into system requirements.

X-Factor

Hands-on HiBob experience: configuration, workflows, reporting and integrations.

Power BI and/or Tableau skills to build people analytics dashboards for leadership.

Experience with workflow automation (Google Apps Script, Zapier, Make or similar).

Experience integrating an ATS (e.g., Recruitee) with an HRIS.

Background in fintech or another fast-scaling, regulated environment.

HRIS or analytics certifications (e.g., HiBob, Microsoft PL-300, Tableau).
