CPI (Penang) seeks a detailed Payroll Administrator to support HR operations in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include accurate monthly payroll processing, attendance data verification for employees and subcontractors, and coordinating performance appraisals and HR reporting.

Qualifications

• SPM or Diploma in any discipline.
• Knowledge of Employment Act 1955 and related labour laws.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to follow instructions and work independently or in a team.
• Positive, proactive, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Payroll Administration – Manage and process monthly payroll accurately and on time, including salary calculations, overtime, allowances, bonuses, salary advances, statutory deductions, and other payroll-related transactions.
• Attendance Management – Monitor, verify, and maintain accurate employee attendance records, including subcontractor employees.
• Performance Management – Coordinate and process performance appraisals for annual reviews, confirmations, promotions, and transfers.
• Reporting & Analysis – Prepare HR reports such as salary, medical claims, absence and lateness reports, and ad-hoc management reports.
• RBA Compliance & Workplace Standards – Ensure compliance with RBA requirements and maintain ethical workplace practices.
• Ad-hoc Duties – Perform other HR-related tasks as directed.
