Job summary

ABB Motion in Malaysia seeks an experienced HR Business Partner to design and implement people strategies and deliver expert HR support for a defined team in Petaling Jaya. You will partner with managers, drive HR initiatives, and represent HR in business decisions.

With 5+ years in HR, you will know Malaysian labour laws, excel in English and Malay, and leverage HR systems to optimize processes. The role offers a hybrid model and opportunities for growth within ABB.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar HR generalist role.
• Proven experience in end-to-end HR processes including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and employment regulations.
• Fluency in English and Malay (both spoken and written).
• Advanced proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office (Excel).

• Develop and implement people strategy through execution of HR processes.
• Provide HR support for a defined team or location, partnering with respective managers.
• Represent HR in the business and establish strong relationships with leaders and employees.
• Partner with operations to align people strategies with business objectives.
• Facilitate change management initiatives and continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.
• Support local HR initiatives and process optimization, including MO simplification project.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour legislation, ABB policies, safety standards, and integrity requirements.
