Job summary

ATI College in Sabah is seeking an experienced housekeeping trainer to plan and deliver lectures, tutorials, and workshops related to housekeeping. The role involves leading hands-on training in a lab or simulated hotel environment, demonstrating proper cleaning procedures for guest rooms, public areas, and specialized surfaces.

The ideal candidate will mentor and motivate students, foster a positive learning environment, provide one-on-one coaching, and monitor progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in housekeeping or tutoring in housekeeping.
• Possess VTO or TVET-i certification.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lectures, tutorials and workshops relating to housekeeping.
• Lead hands-on practical training sessions in a lab or simulated hotels environment, demonstrating proper cleaning procedures for guest rooms, public areas and specialized surfaces.
• Mentor and motivate students, fostering a positive learning environment and promoting professionalism.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and feedback to students to develop meticulous attention to detail and efficient work practices.
• Monitor performance progress and guide students in each competency.
• Ensure students' assessment records are updated in the system after assessment.
• Ensure students' welfare at all times.
