Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant (Public Area) to maintain the hotel’s public spaces to the highest standards. The role emphasizes attention to detail, guest satisfaction, and teamwork within a luxury setting in Kuala Lumpur.

Joining our passionate team, you will perform cleaning duties, restock supplies, and support smooth daily operations while adhering to safety and hygiene guidelines. Training will be provided, and rotating shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred; training provided.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties for extended periods.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and guest-focused.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Must speak Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Housekeeping Attendant (Public Area)

The Housekeeping Attendant (Public Area) is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and overall condition of the hotel's public areas to the highest standards. The role ensures that all guest and colleague areas are clean, well-maintained, and welcoming while providing attentive and professional service to guests.

What You Will Do

• Clean and maintain all assigned public areas, including lobbies, corridors, elevators, restrooms, restaurants, and other guest areas.
• Ensure public areas are consistently maintained according to hotel cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Replenish guest supplies, amenities, and other necessary items as required.
• Perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, polishing, cleaning, and other housekeeping duties.
• Ensure public restrooms are clean, hygienic, and well-stocked at all times.
• Monitor public areas and promptly attend to spills, stains, or other cleanliness concerns.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly.
• Assist with deep cleaning, special cleaning projects, and hotel events as required.
• Respond courteously to guest requests and provide assistance when appropriate.
• Follow established housekeeping, hygiene, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Maintain proper grooming, personal hygiene, and professional appearance at all times.
• Work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure smooth daily operations and consistently high standards.

What You Bring

• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is an advantage; training will be provided.
• Good understanding of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Physically fit and able to stand, walk, bend, and perform cleaning duties for extended periods.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must be able to speak, read, and write Bahasa Malaysia and English.
