Overview
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations to ensure smooth functionality and maximize profitability.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of all departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, and F&B.
- Support and work with all colleagues in all aspects of running the operation.
- Ensure the premises are in operative condition as per category of the unit to receive and serve the guests.
- Monitor the co-ordination between all departments for smooth & efficient operations.
- Assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction and service recovery process.
- Identifying staff learning needs and assisting with development.
- Providing timely and constructive feedback on all direct reports as and when required.
- Monitor and maintain operations & overhead cost to maintain maximum revenue for the organization.
- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation.
- Be on available on call 24 hours a day to resolve any urgent problems or emergency.
- Maintain good relations with working colleagues.
- Any other delegated tasks as and when required by the Management.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of a Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Higher/Professional Certificate/Graduate Diploma in Hotel Management or a related field.
- Preferably with experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in five-star hotels.
- A team player with strong leadership qualities, independence, and a pleasant personality.
- Proficiency in verbal and written English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with staff, guests, and external partners.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly under pressure.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
