Job summary

Fairfield by Marriott Kota Kinabalu, a part of Marriott International, seeks an experienced Security Manager to assist the Director of Security in managing daily operations at our Kota Kinabalu property. The role focuses on protecting people and assets, enforcing safety standards, and maintaining comprehensive documentation and procedures.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in security, loss prevention, or related area.
• 2-year degree in Criminal Justice with 1 year related security experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement emergency procedures.
• Deploy security staff to monitor and protect assets.
• Investigate losses and report to management.
• Maintain logs and required documentation.
• Inspect security equipment and ensure functioning.
• Provide guidance and supervision to security team.
• Handle guest problems and complaints.
• Coordinate with local authorities and law enforcement.
