Fairfield by Marriott Kota Kinabalu is seeking an entry-level Finance & Accounting specialist to check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy, and to maintain financial records in accordance with policies. You will prepare reports, assist with period-end closings, and help resolve outstanding invoices while coordinating with other departments.

Located in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, the role requires attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work in a busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsabilités

• Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
• Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents according to policies.
• Record, store, analyze financial information using journals, ledgers, and computers.
• Prepare and distribute financial reports and statements; complete period-end closing procedures.
• Follow up and resolve past due accounts and vendor invoices until payment is received.
