Job summary

KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital in Penang is seeking a Storekeeper for the Pharmacy to support stock control, order processing and hospital-wide supply distribution.

The role involves FIFO stock management, GRN, maintaining bin cards, and ensuring proper storage conditions. You will work under the Senior Storekeeper and Pharmacist to maintain efficient pharmaceutical operations and timely deliveries to wards.

Qualifications

• SPM qualification required.
• Experience in pharmaceutical stock handling is favorable.
• Understanding of stock control and documentation processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Storekeeper in preparing purchase orders and GRN.
• Assist in generating Goods Received Notes (GRN).
• Attend to emergency drug requirements and stock issues.
• Ensure FIFO for transfers and stock, except emergencies.
• Maintain accurate bin cards and system stock records.
• Supply stocks to wards and other departments as floor stock.
• Verify items against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Monitor storage conditions and expiry dates.
