Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional in Malaysia is seeking a Legal Analyst/Editor to support expansion, maintenance, and publication of Hong Kong legislative content across our platforms. You will ensure accuracy, currency, and editorial integrity.

In this role you will work with AI-enabled editorial workflows, identify opportunities to improve prompts and processes, and collaborate with technology and product teams to enhance editorial solutions.

Qualifications

• Must hold a law degree (LLB/JD or equivalent).
• Ability to read and write Traditional Chinese.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
• High accuracy with editorial, proofreading, and QA skills.
• Experience interpreting amendments and maintaining publications or databases.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Hong Kong legislation and related developments.
• Analyse amendments and implement statutory updates across products.
• Prepare legislative histories, editor's notes, and effective date notes.
• Develop roadmaps for amendments, repeals, and transitional provisions.
• Verify citations and legal references through research.
• Conduct editorial review to ensure content accuracy and currency.
• Support expansion of legislation content and onboarding of new content.
