Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional is seeking a Legal Analyst to support expansion, maintenance, and publication of Hong Kong legislation across our legal products and platforms. You will ensure accuracy, currency, and high editorial standards while collaborating with editorial, technology, product, and operations teams.

In this role you will apply legal expertise to AI-enabled workflows, manage content intake, and contribute to scalable editorial processes that serve customers globally.

Qualifications

• LLB, JD, or equivalent law degree.
• Must read and write Traditional Chinese.
• Strong understanding of Hong Kong legislation and legislative research.
• Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
• High accuracy with strong editorial and QA skills.
• Experience interpreting legislative amendments and publications.
• Organisational and project management skills with multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and legal research platforms.
• Willingness to work with AI-enabled editorial workflows.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Hong Kong legislation, Bills, and related legal developments.
• Analyse amendments and implement statutory updates across digital products.
• Prepare legislative histories, editor's notes, and commencement information.
• Develop roadmaps identifying amendments, repeals, and transitional provisions.
• Verify citations, statutory history, and legal references through research.
• Conduct editorial review and quality assurance for legislative content.
• Support expansion of Hong Kong legislation collections for publication.
