Job summary

UEM Edgenta Berhad in Johor is seeking a hands-on Machinery Operator to ensure equipment runs at peak efficiency and meets client specifications. You will oversee daily site activities, maintain equipment, and report any issues while supporting the supervisor with progress documentation.

The role requires technical training or certification in machinery operation, a valid H & I driving licence, and proven hands-on experience across multiple machine types, with a focus on safety and quality

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or SMK; technical training or certification in machinery operation is preferred.
• Possess valid Class H & I driving licences.
• Proven experience in maintaining and operating various types of machinery.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all machinery operates in optimal condition to achieve maximum output and meet technical requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of vehicles and machinery at all times.
• Immediately report any vehicle or machinery damage.
• Supervise work in the absence of the supervisor.

• Submit monthly machinery reports to the Logistics and Machinery Department.
• Record daily diesel consumption for each piece of machinery.

Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ensure all machinery operates in optimal condition to achieve maximum output and meet the technical requirements set by clients or consultants.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of vehicles and machinery at all times.
• Immediately report any vehicle or machinery damage.
• Supervise work in the absence of the supervisor.
• Assist the supervisor in preparing daily site progress reports.
• Ensure machinery is prepared and ready before starting work.
• Operate more than three types of machinery competently.
• Maintain high-quality pavement work.
• Ensure no defects or rework are caused by machine operation.
• Adhere to Safe Working Practices and comply with HSE requirements.
• Ensure all work adheres to approved Work Instructions.
• Submit monthly machinery reports to the Logistics and Machinery Department.
• Record daily diesel consumption for each piece of machinery.

Requirements

• Minimum Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia/Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia; technical training or certification in machinery operation is preferred.
• Possess valid Class H & I driving licences
• Proven experience in maintaining and operating various types of machinery.
