Job summary

Businesslist in Malaysia is seeking a Head of Tax to lead tax strategy and compliance across the organization. You will develop and implement effective tax strategies aligned with business goals, oversee tax reporting, and liaise with auditors and authorities.

You will mentor the tax team and collaborate with other departments on cross-functional taxation initiatives. The role requires a degree in Accounting/Finance, professional qualifications (ACCA/CPA), and proven experience in tax planning,

Qualifications

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of local and international tax regulations.
• Proven experience in tax planning, compliance, and reporting.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
