Job summary

Bumi Armada in Malaysia is seeking an Senior Operational Excellence professional to lead standardisation across production operations and corporate support functions, driving reliability and safety.

You will develop maturity frameworks, KPIs, and data dashboards; coordinate with maintenance and offshore teams; champion continuous improvement and cost-efficiency.

This role requires 8–12+ years in oil and gas, FPSO exposure, and strong leadership with change management.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in oil and gas operations with FPSO/offshore exposure.
• Experience with reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and RCA.
• Leader in safety management systems and data-driven analysis.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Operational Excellence maturity frameworks and KPIs.
• Collaborate with maintenance to improve asset integrity and PM schedules.
• Establish KPIs and dashboards to measure effectiveness over time.
• Tie tactical changes to broader company goals and financial targets.
• Promote a proactive safety and continuous improvement culture across offshore and onshore teams.
• Direct continuous improvement, reliability, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
• Project manage adoption of AI and digital twin platforms on new projects.
• Provide guidance on robotics standards for inspections to reduce exposure.
• Coach staff on problem-solving tools and shutdown planning processes.
• Assist asset teams to enhance internal self-verification and auditing capabilities.
• Guide organizational transitions for sustainable process adoption.
