KPJ Rawang Specialist Hospital is seeking a senior leader to head International Patient Services, shaping the health tourism strategy and expanding global partnerships. You will guide the team to deliver seamless patient experiences while aligning with clinical and marketing objectives.

Ideal candidates bring 8–10 years in healthcare management, strong leadership, and a track record in developing international markets and strategic partnerships.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business, marketing, tourism, or related field.
• Master’s degree (MBA/Healthcare Management/Public Health) is an advantage.
• 8–10 years in healthcare management or health tourism with at least 5 years in a senior role.

Responsabilidades

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the organisation's health tourism strategy aligned with business objectives. Identify and expand international markets to increase patient referrals and revenue. Build and maintain strategic partnerships with healthcare facilitators, insurance providers, travel agencies, embassies, government agencies, and corporate organisations. Lead the International Patient Services team to deliver seamless end-to-end patient experiences. Collaborate with clinical departments to develop attractive healthcare packages and specialised medical programmes. Oversee marketing and promotional campaigns targeting international markets. Represent the organisation at international conferences, exhibitions, and trade missions. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in health tourism. Develop annual budgets, KPIs, and performance reports for the department. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and international patient service requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and patient satisfaction.

Job Requirements

• Education Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field. Master’s degree (MBA, Healthcare Management, Public Health, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Experience Minimum of 8–10 years’ experience in healthcare management, health tourism, international patient services, business development, or a related field. At least 5 years in a senior leadership or managerial role. Demonstrated success in developing international markets and strategic partnerships. Experience in hospital operations or medical tourism programmes is highly desirable.
• Skills and Competencies Strong strategic planning and business development capabilities. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong knowledge of international healthcare and medical tourism trends. Outstanding communication and presentation skills. Financial planning and budget management experience. Project management and organisational skills. Data-driven decision-making and analytical capability. Cultural awareness and ability to work with international clients. Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
