SUPER MICRO COMPUTER MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. in Kulai, Malaysia seeks a hardware test engineer with a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.

3–5 years of experience in server, PC, or electronics hardware testing in manufacturing is required. You should understand server components (CPU, RAM, storage, BMC/IPMI, BIOS/firmware) and have Python or Bash scripting for test automation. Experience with x86 server platforms and MES/test-tracking systems, plus Linux/Windows troubleshooting, will help

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
3-5 years in server, PC, or electronics hardware testing in manufacturing.
Strong understanding of server Architecture: CPU, RAM, storage, BMC/IPMI, BIOS/firmware.
Experience testing x86 server platforms is a plus.
Proficient in Python or Bash scripting for test automation.
Familiar with production MES or test tracking systems.
Adept with Linux/Windows OS, networking, and diagnostic tools.
Hands-on troubleshooting and ability to read schematics and test procedures.
Willing to work in a shift-based production environment.
