Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Test Engineer to execute daily production test operations and IQC on PCBA boards. The ideal candidate will understand computer/electrical engineering concepts, develop test scripts, and perform quality control to meet company goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
3–5 years in server/electronics hardware testing, preferably in manufacturing.
Familiarity with server architecture (CPU, RAM, Storage, BIOS/firmware) and x86 platforms.
Proficiency in scripting for test automation (Python, Bash).

Responsibilities

Perform functional testing of server systems and hardware diagnostics.
Troubleshoot failures and identify root causes for hardware/firmware/config issues.
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Production to resolve issues and improve product quality.
Maintain and improve test stations, tools and procedures for efficiency and accuracy.
Provide training to test operators and document test procedures.
Record and analyze test data to support continuous improvement.
