Job summary

Huaren Resources Sdn. Bhd. seeks a practical maintenance technician in Kuala Lumpur to assemble, repair, and maintain plumbing and related systems. The role covers leaks, fittings, and building services with some carpentry tasks on site.

The candidate should have 1–2 years of building maintenance experience, basic plumbing and electrical knowledge, and a hands-on troubleshooting approach. Overtime, weekends, and public holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water and drainage systems.
• Maintain and repair plumbing, fix leaks, and clear drains.
• Carry out rough-in and finishing carpentry tasks as needed.
• Install and repair door locks, handles, and related hardware.
• Diagnose minor plumbing/electrical issues and perform tool maintenance.

Job description

Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water supply, drainage, waste, and sewerage systems.

Perform maintenance and repair works on plumbing systems, including fixing leaks, replacing damaged pipes, and clearing clogged drains.

Conduct rough-in and finishing carpentry works as required.

Install and repair door locks, handles, handrails, and related hardware.

Maintain and service sewerage systems, water lines, and other disposal systems.

Diagnose plumbing and minor electrical issues; clean, maintain, and ensure proper handling of tools and equipment.

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of working experience in building maintenance, preferably in office buildings or commercial properties.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical wiring works.
• Hands-on, practical, and able to troubleshoot maintenance issues independently.
• Responsible, reliable, and able to respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual repair work.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays when required.
• Candidates without the above qualification but with relevant experience would be considered.
