Job summary

NSS IT Solution Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on Software Development Team Lead to guide a small team of engineers. You will mentor junior developers while shaping technical design, driving delivery, and ensuring reliable software across a monolith and evolving microservices.

You’ll collaborate with QA, Product, Project Management, DevOps, and Helpdesk to translate requirements into robust solutions, maintain documentation, and enforce standards. Strong leadership and hands‑on coding are expected.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of software development experience with backend and full stack integration.
• At least 1–3 years in a Team Lead/Senior role guiding developers.
• Experience maintaining monolithic apps and developing or integrating microservices.
• Proficiency in ERD, sequence diagrams, process flows, and system diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, and deployment of features within monolith and microservices.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions, tasks, and acceptance criteria.
• Produce and maintain solution diagrams and architectural references.
• Define API contracts, data models, and integration strategies.
• Occasionally lead hands-on coding, reviews, and troubleshooting.
