Job summary

Celestica in Malaysia seeks an Operations Engineering Support 2 to analyze schematics, troubleshoot, and repair products, while performing maintenance on test equipment. You will work under supervision and may mentor others on similar tasks.

Requires a foundation in electrical/electromechanical systems and experience with testing, debugging and using C++-based applications. Two to four years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering foundation and knowledge of electrical/electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read schematics, bills of materials and drawings.
• Experience with testing, debugging and circuit verification.

Responsibilities

• Reads and analyzes schematic diagrams and circuit descriptions.
• Troubleshoots and repairs failed products and test equipment.
• Inspects for quality and replaces faulty components.
• Sets up, operates and adjusts test sets and equipment.
• Performs proactive maintenance and maintains spare parts inventory.
• Supports complex testing, debug and design verification with guidance.
