Job summary

Celestica Inc. in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Hardware Engineer with 2–5 years of related experience to join our design engineering hardware team.

You will identify issues, troubleshoot with R&D, and validate hardware across Networking, Storage, and Servers, supporting NPI and RMAs. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronics (or BEng Hons), strong electrical design and debugging skills, familiarity with PCIe, NVMe, SAS, SATA, I2C, SPI, PMBus and DDR buses, plus experience with test

Qualifications

2–5 years of related experience in similar roles.
Bachelor degree in Electronics or equivalent.
Strong electrical design and debug skills.
Familiar with PCIe, NVMe, SAS, SATA, I2C, SPI, PMBus, DDR buses.
Experience with test/measurement equipment and Windows/Linux configurations.
Knowledge of Orcad Schematics and Allegro PCB tools a plus.

Responsibilities

Identify technical issues and troubleshoot with R&D, Manufacturing and Field teams.
Hardware validation for Networking, Storage, Server products during NPI or RMA cycles.
Qualify alternative components for compatibility, cost and benchmarking.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Testing and Development teams to diagnose root cause and validate solutions.
