Job summary

Meraque Group in Malaysia is seeking an Embedded E&E Engineer to join our Robotics & AGV division. You will work on wiring, integration, testing, and on-site deployments at plantation and industrial sites.

The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with senior engineers to advance autonomous systems.

Travel to field sites is expected as needed, and you will develop technical knowledge in robotics and automation.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, electronic components, circuit diagrams, and troubleshooting.
Interest in robotics, automation, AGVs, and autonomous systems.
Willingness to travel to field deployment sites when required.
Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive learning attitude.
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in AGV testing, commissioning, and deployment at plantation and industrial sites.
Perform electrical wiring, cable connections, and installation of components.
Test, configure, and troubleshoot controllers, sensors, and other electrical systems.
Assist in integrating AGVs with charging docks, peripheral devices, and external automation or IoT systems.
Ensure electrical installations meet operational and safety requirements.
Maintain accurate records of wiring layouts, testing results, maintenance activities, and repairs.
